Will of Francis Tucker, 1723 - Prince George Co.VA. Will ofFrancis Tucker - 1723 (Deeds etc. 1713-28, page 663, PrinceGeorge Co.VA.) In the Name of God, Amen. I Francis Tucker of theparrish of Bristoll in the County of Prince George, do make anddeclare this my Last Will and Testament in manner and formfollowing that is to say, First I bequeath my Soul into thehands of Almighty God, believeing remission of Sinns andeverlasting Life, by the merrits , Death and passion of JesusChrist my Lord and only Saviour. 2ly. Item. I give and Deviseunto my son Francis Tucker and his heirs for ever, that part ofmy Land Lying on the East Side of Mawhipponock Creek, at theLower end thereof, as I have marked the same out to him. 3ly.Item. I give and devise unto my Son John Tucker and his heirsfor ever, that part of my Land Lying on the North side ofMawhipponock Creek, joining upon Henry Mayes, as it is alreadySurveyed for him. 4ly. Item. I give and Devise unto my Son HenryTucker and his heirs for ever, that part of my Land Lyingbetween my Son Francis Tucker and my Son John Tucker, on bothsides Mawhipponock Creek, the plantation whereon I now livebeing part of the said Land. 5ly. Item. I give and Devise untomy son Abram Tucker and his heirs for ever, that part of my LandLying on the North side of Mawhipponock Creek joining upon mySon Henry Tucker and Thomas Mitchell as I have marked the sameout to him. 6ly. Item. I give and Devise to my Son Mathew Tuckerand his heirs for ever, that part of my Land joining upon ThomasMitchell as it is already surveyed for him. 7ly. Item. I giveand Devise all my Goods and Chattels to be equally divided amongall my Children, and unto Mary my Loveing wife one Childs part,whom I do also make whole and sole Executrix of this my Will. The above written Last Will and Testament of FrancisTucker dec'ed. was presented into Court by Francis Tucker Jun'r.and the Executrix named in the said Will being since dead, thesaid Francis Tucker made oath thereto, and it being proved bythe oaths of Mathew Mayes, Henry Mayes & John Powell, theseverall witnesses thereto, by order of the said Court is trulyrecorded. And on the motion of the said Francis Tucker and hisgiveing Security according to Law, Certificate is granted himfor obtaining a commission of Administration with the s'd. Willannexed in due form.
